Archives of the Grand Chant
Käarde’s world bible organizes its history into books on chronology, cosmology, peoples and geography. The Chantres gather the world’s stories there.

Käarde is my original universe, built through long-term historical research, systemic worldbuilding and fiction writing.
I design its societies, factions, religions, political structures and characters as interconnected systems rather than isolated pieces of lore.

Worldbuilding
Nine regions, nine continents, each with its own myths and legends.
Käarde is divided into nine regions, standing for nine continents, each with its own mythologies and legends.
Despite distinct civilisations, the cultures and customs of the countries within one region are bound by a shared history and spring from a common root. Every kingdom has its own identity, yet all carry the imprint of their continent's heritage.
In it, I build feudal structures, religions, political conflicts, trade networks, dynastic relationships and factions with a systemic internal logic. I write characters as actors inside those systems: their decisions emerge from their goals, position, loyalties and relationships.
Käarde is also the playground for my tabletop role-playing games, for which I act as game designer, writer and cartographer.
Novels
An ancient warrior must recover his greatness and strength to preserve the balance of his world.
Along his journey he restores his powers and forges bonds with a varied group of allies, across the different kingdoms of the Krysios region — which gives the series its name.
Between political tensions and the shadow of an imminent war, the hero and his companions must negotiate with the kingdoms to unite their forces against the ancestral enemy threatening their existence.
Worldbuilding
Käarde’s world bible organizes its history into books on chronology, cosmology, peoples and geography. The Chantres gather the world’s stories there.
Cultures and lineages have dedicated records. Their origins, connections and place in the world shape conflicts and relationships between characters.
Krysios is the setting for the novel series; Käarde also hosts a tabletop campaign with its own rules, characters and maps. Both formats grow from the same worldbuilding.

Before anything, there was only Absolute Silence. Then the Presence, the first ethereal entity, broke the Void, and from its primordial forces came Kaos, Orgé, Tyxé and Lely: chaos, order, darkness and light. The Void took shape in response, and has since sought to return Existence to silence.

From the clash between Existence and the Void, four Titans were born: Chronos (time), Ubyké (space), Ulée (matter) and Gëya (energy). They are not gods but the fundamental forces of Existence. Together they form the Omnys, source of all things.

Ann (life), Enlil (death) and Enki (knowledge and balance) watch over mortals, joined by seven deities of the sun, the moon, nature, love, war, the seasons and the earth. Each carries one facet of life and its own unanswered questions.

One rule binds the gods: none may intervene directly in the fate of mortals. To act on the world, they must work through chosen mortals. This constraint drives the stakes of the stories and campaigns.

Cartography
From the illustrated map to working documents: these versions show how the world has developed. Some names and boundaries are still under revision.
